About Your Sleep
Coach in Sussex
Empathetic, experienced, and here to help your family thrive
Meet Judy Durrant
Hello, I’m Judy—founder of Sleepy Baby Happy Bedtimes. With decades of experience supporting children and families, I bring warmth, expertise, and deep understanding to every session.
I’m a registered nurse, school nurse, qualified counsellor, and psychotherapist. My background spans the NHS, as well as in Schools—always focused on child and family wellbeing.

Why I Started This Service
Over the years, I saw how my own family and friends struggled with sleep and bedtimes and the impact of sleep deprivation had, affecting health, mood, school, work, and family dynamics.
At work, I noticed how the sleep advice offered by health visitors and school nurses changed over the years and that these services have become increasingly stretched, leaving families with unanswered questions and limited support.
I launched Sleepy Baby Happy Bedtimes to fill that gap. To offer families a friendly, informed hand to hold while they navigate their child’s sleep challenges—without judgement or pressure.
A Gentle, Personalised Approach
My philosophy is simple: every child is unique, and every family is different. That’s why I don’t impose rigid routines or ready-made solutions.
Instead, I work with you—listening, observing, and offering tools that feel right for your child and your lifestyle. Children are welcome to take part in the process too, helping them feel understood and involved.

Inclusive, Culturally Aware Support
I’ve worked with families from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. Respecting your values is at the heart of what I do. I adapt my guidance and techniques to suit your family’s beliefs and traditions.
Whether you’re based in Sussex or anywhere across the UK, you can expect compassionate, professional support tailored just for you.
